This programme supports long research stays (for a period of 2 to 6 months) at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver campus).

The purpose of this programme is to enable permanent researchers affiliated with French public universities and research organisations (CNRS, Inserm, INRAE, Institut Pasteur, INRIA, etc.) to spend a few months at the University of British Columbia to develop a research project, expand and structure partnerships.

Visiting scholars are expected to remain full-time on the university site for the entire duration of their stay. The host principal investigator will provide the visiting scholar with access to facilities, equipment, and resources within the university.
