French language assistants in Canada
Are you looking for international professional experience in education? Would you like to share your culture and language while deepening your knowledge of another culture?
Become a French language assistant in Canada!
French language assistants are assigned to primary or secondary schools or universities for a period of around 8 to 9 months, depending on the school's academic calendar.
The French language assistant program is coordinated by France Education International (an agency of the French Ministry for National Education). More information about the program is available here.
Applications for the language assistant exchange program are made entirely online through France Education International, on the ADELE platform.

The role of the assistant is to improve students' communication skills, particularly oral communication, and to deepen their knowledge of French culture.
They work in a supporting role, assisting French teachers, and may work with the whole class, or with small groups of students.

introducing students to French civilization and culture
providing one-on-one assistance to students
